Holiday Hours
The Library will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22nd and be closed all day on Thanksgiving, the 23rd. We will be open 10-5 on Friday, as per normal.
Library Notes on-line.
After a period of neglect, Library Notes are returning to their online home after two readers noted their absence last week. To read the column online, go to the Library’s homepage at altamontfreelibrary.org and click on the clink that says What’s Doing at the Library.
Bake Sale
Thank you to all who cooked for and bought from the Library bake sale on Election Day. It was a great success.
Story Time
Gooble, Gooble. Come one, come all to the Library to wiggle your wattle over stories and crafts about Thanksgiving. Toddler Storytime is Wednesday, from 10:15 to 10:45. Pre-school storytime will be Monday from 10-10:45.
Read to a Dog.
Come on in and read to Jane, the Portuguese Water Dog who loves to listen to stories. Jane is back at the Library Wednesday afternoons from 3-4. Reading to Jane is a great way for kids to gain confidence in their reading abilities while having fun. Call 861-7239 to sign up for a 15-minute time slot or just drop in.
