Library Notes 1/12
Holiday Hours
The Library will be closed Monday, January 16th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Hannah’s Collection
Do you collect anything? Hannah does. The heroine of Hannah’s Collections, by Marthe Jocelyn, has so many collections that she can’t choose between them when it comes time to bring one in for show-and-tell. Join us as we read this delightfully illustrated book and create collections of our own. Bring something collectable to share, if you’d like. Wednesday the 18th at 4. Ages 4-8.
Pre-School Story time
This week’s story time (Wednesday only!) we’ll be talking about circuses. There’ll be no clowning around as we juggle circus stories with feats of derring-do (more commonly referred to as crafts.) Join us at 10 and bring a friend. No registration required.
Read-to-a-Dog
Bark, bark bark bark, bark. Bark! Woof! Bark? Bark. Ok, so that’s not what we mean when we say read to a dog. What we mean is the opportunity to come to the Library and read a book (in English) to Jane, a hypo-allergenic therapy dog who loves books and kids. Come on by Tuesdays between 3:30 and 4:30.
