Library Notes 1/19

Pre-School Story time

In a story time fit for a king, we’ll be dishing out stories about royals, making queenly crafts and have fun on a palatial scale in the Children’s Section of the Library. Monday and Wednesday at 10AM. No registration required.

Scrap booking

There are two slots left in the four week scrap booking class starting February 1st. Scrapbooks are an awesome way to collect memories and make great gifts. The class meets Wednesdays at 6:30. Materials will be discussed at the first class.

Computer Classes for Adults

The Library is now accepting registration for the next round of Computer Classes. This five part series, which assumes no prior experience, covers basic computer operation, word processing, the Internet, email, and online safety tips. Sign up for all or some of the classes. Call the Library at 861-7239 for more information or to register for classes.

Shark Attack!

OK, so perhaps Library Notes is guilty of engaging in Yellow Journalism, but we have acquired a Rainbow Shark, and while there is no recorded loss of pinkies, Mr. Shark is a lot of fun to watch as he prowls the tank.

Library Joke

Following a brief hiatus (and, from here on out, to be interspersed with Quiz questions), Library Joke is back.

Why does the ghost come back to the library every day for more books?
