Library Hours
Want to start the New Year off with a good book? The Library will be open to help you out. We have regular hours this week, including 9-12 on Saturday December 31st and 10-8 on Monday, January 2nd.
Pre-school story time
Story time resumes its regular Monday and Wednesday at 10a.m. cadence this week. Children are invited in for New Years stories and crafts. Fire breathing dragons will be kept strictly under control.
R.E.A.D. to a Dog
Jane is back on Tuesday, January 3rd from 3:30-4:30 to enjoy stories at the Library. Reading to Jane is a great way for kids to boost their reading confidence and have fun to boot. Sign up for an appointment or just drop in.
Infant Lapsit
For those babies and caretakers willing to brave the blustery January weather, infant lap sit will take place Tuesday at 10:30. Come in for a relaxed session of stories and scribbling.
Social Stitchers
Come by the Library Wednesday at 1:00 with whatever craft you may be working on. Note the new time and bring a friend along. Tea will be served.
Computer Class for Adults
The new year brings a new series of computer classes for adults. We’ll be starting on Thursday, January 5th at 10:30 with the Bare Basics – turning the computer on and off, using a mouse and opening and closing programs. Absolutely no prior experience is expected. Call the Library at 861-7239 to reserve your spot.
