Library Notes 11/24 and 12/1

Decorate the Library

Artists aged 6 and up are invited to the Library to help make a welcome banner for the library entrance. Come at 4:00 with ideas and ready fingers.

Deck the Tree

Readers are invited to bring a homemade holiday ornament to decorate the tree at the Train Station for Victorian Holidays. Bring your ornament to the library by December 1st and help us spruce the place up.

Kids’ Book Clubs

Grades 2-4 Chocolate Fever by Robert Kimmel Smith

Henry Green finds out whether or not it’s possible to love chocolate too much.

Grades 4-6 Harriet the Spy by Louise Fitzhugh - Eleven-year-old Harriet keeps a notebook with her observations about her friends, but when her classmates find out the results are unforgettable.

The grades 2-4 club will meet Monday the 19th of December and the Grades 4-6 club will meet Tuesday the 20th, at 4. Request your books at the Library now.

Computer Classes for Adults:

The series starts again on December 1st. Class one: The Bare Basics – Turning the thing on, using a mouse, navigating the Windows environment. Registration is required as space is limited. 861-7239.

Ongoing Events for Kids:

Preschool story time, Monday and Wednesday at 10, Infant Lap-sit Tuesday 10:30, Read to a dog Tuesday at 3:30.
