Beginner’s Quilting Class
To kick off a series of Wednesday afternoon craft sessions Ruth Dickinson will be teaching a two-part class for first time quilters. Participants will create a quilted wall hanging to bring home with them. Participants should bring 2 contrasting ½ yard pieces of cotton fabric. The class meets Wednesdays October 5th and 12th at 2 PM. Registration is required as class size is limited. Please call the library at 861-7239 to register and find out more about materials.
Computers 101
The second incarnation of a series of computer classes for adults is beginning. Do you know absolutely nothing about computers? Then we’ve got a class for you! Computer kindergarten will be the first in a series of classes aimed at gaining proficiency in common computer functions. This first class will focus on turning on and off the computer, using the mouse and keyboard and opening and closing programs. The first session of computer kindergarten will be held Thursday morning, 10/06 at 10:30. Space is limited and registration is required. Call the library at 861-7239.
Story Time
Every Monday and Wednesday at 10, come to the library for Pre-School Story Time. These half-hour programs feature stories, activities, art and lots of squirming. The four and under-set and their caretakers are cordially invited.
