Preschool story time
Do you see Sally sharing stories by the seashore? While Altamont may be a long shot from the coast, we’ll be transported by tales of the coast during pre-school story time. Monday and Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Toddler Story time
Do you know a toddler with an attention span that makes getting through a full verse of head and shoulder knees and toes all but impossible? Bring them to toddler storytime, where we do stuff in short doses. Tuesdays at 10:15.
Literally Speaking
Come by the Library to pick up the latest edition of Literally Speaking, our quarterly newsletter, hot off the Library’s photocopier. The summer edition includes all the steamy details about our Summer Reading Program, Books: A Treasure.

Library Joke
In anticipation of our summer reading program, which will be filled with pirates and kings and, because, I, dear reader, am running out of library jokes, the jokes will take a turn toward the royal and piratey. Drum roll, please: How much do pirates pay for their earrings? Email answers to winesj@mail.uhls.lib.ny.us. Something cool to the winner…
Why is that library book you're trying to find always in the last place you look? Because when you find it you stop looking.
