Library Notes

Pre-School Story time

Peter, Peter pumpkin-eater; Had a wife and couldn't keep her; Put her in a pumpkin shell; And there he kept her very well. This week we will explore bits of the sillier side of the pre-school oeuvre. (And we will refrain from looking for deeper meanings) Join us for some silly songs, funny stories and a sticky, silly craft. Monday and Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Toddler Story Time

Join us at 10:30 for an informal story time created with two and three year olds in mind. We’ll read a couple stories, learn some songs and rhymes and leave time afterwards for running about.

A Visit to Altamont in the Early 1900s

Travel back in time to another incarnation of Altamont. Tim Albright will present a slideshow and talk about the village during the heyday of the Delaware and Hudson Railroad. This program is co-sponsored by Altamont Community Traditions. Thursday March 30th at 7:30 in the Village Hall Community Room.

Library Joke

Who writes invisible books?

Something cool to the winner…

And the answer to last week’s joke…

Why did the bird fly into the Library?

It was looking for bookworms!
